LX-218CA is a high-performance powered bass-reflex sub-woofer system. The LX-218CRA version is intended as a flyable subwoofer for the Aero line array systems. The unit utilizes two 18LXN long-excursion 18″ low frequency speakers with 4″ voice coil. Improved voice coil materials, magnet circuit and surround design provide high power handling, low power compression and low distortion. The system incorporates a 2400 W Class D switching amplifier, powering the low-frequency transducers. 24 bit DSP provides RMS, peak and over-excursion limiters. The innovative “Cardiode Preset” switch enables cardiode patern for two or three subwoofers.
